It’s hard to put into words what Teri and I value most about capturing destination weddings. Maybe it is the chance to share in a place that is special to our couple and capture their love in a location that is uniquely them. Or perhaps it’s the intimacy of the smaller gathering of cherished loved ones that made the intentional choice to share in this celebration. And of course, we sure do love a couple that waves the middle finger at convention and instead pursues a path reflecting their unique personalities as they commit to doing life together in this thing called marriage. 

But these wedding adventures are also deeply personal for us. We are genuinely excited for our couples who chose to prioritize adventure and experience in their marriage because we know firsthand how doing that in our own marriage has drawn us closer as a couple. There is something about experiencing the world with your partner, sharing in these adventures, and trying new things together that allows you to feel these experiences more deeply. 

Destination weddings aren’t just about finding an epic location to say your vows; it’s about starting your life together on your own terms. It’s beginning a lifelong commitment with a promise of adventure and seeking new experiences together. This is the heart-pounding, joy-filling, holy-sh*t we’re doing this, good stuff, and there is no more tremendous honor for us than to capture this story, YOUR STORY.
